How do i stop my cat from scratching the stairs?
We have carpeted stairs that are slowly being shredded by our boy cat Oliver. Any ideas on how we can stop him from this behavior?
Answer: First, give him something else to scratch. A scratching post will work if you make it attractive to him. You get shredded catnip and sprinkle it to attract him. Keeping his claws trimmed will also help. There is also declawing.
